Shepherd Adventures and Stories
At the Zgornji Zavratnik Farm, during the summer months, animals graze on the surrounding mountain pastures. Shepherds take care of them and, after the grazing season, return to the valley with many stories and adventures.
During your visit to Zgornji Zavratnik Farm, the shepherds will welcome you and share their tales and adventures from the pastures in local dialect and song. This is a unique experience, where you are greeted in the Solčava dialect and finish by enjoying a traditional shepherd’s snack packed in a “culo.”
