Relaxing Stay at Šenk’s Homestead
If you want to escape the city bustle, visit Šenk’s Homestead in Jezersko, offering accommodation in rooms and apartments, relaxation in the sauna, and the option of a local dinner. Guests can also get up close with Slovenian native breed animals and enjoy activities for hikers and cyclists.
During the Week of Tourist Farms, guests who book at least two nights receive free use of the sauna for two people for two hours. Dinner is available on Friday and Saturday for staying guests.
At the homestead, you can see Cika cows (native Slovenian breed), Jezersko-Solčava sheep, Krškopolje pigs, Styrian hens, Rabbits, cats, and a friendly dog.
All animals are freely accessible and can also be seen on their pastures. Before dinner, usually around 5 PM, you can join Mrs. Brigita in collecting eggs and feeding the animals.
Hikers are welcome to explore the hills above Jezersko. The host, Drejc, can advise on suitable routes. Cyclists can rent electric or regular mountain bikes.
