Culinary Getaway in Prlekija
Welcome to the Moj dom farm, where you will be greeted with excellent cuisine and top-quality wines from the family cellar. The rooms are named after local heritage and reflect the characteristics of the Slovenske Gorice region, symbolized by the “queens of autumn.”
At the Tourist Farm Moj dom – Toplak, they offer a weekend package (Friday–Sunday), including two or three nights, for a minimum of 4 people.
The package includes:
On Friday upon arrival, you will be welcomed with an aperitif and accommodated in the “queen’s rooms.”
- This will be followed by a wine evening with a tasting of 3 wines. You will enjoy excellent local cuisine such as prleška tunka, sausages, cottage cheese spreads, and crackling spreads.
- After Saturday breakfast, a presentation of traditional household cuisine will follow.
- On Saturday evening, a “Household Evening” with the hostess will be prepared (mushroom soup with porridge and buckwheat spoonbread, gibanica).
- A presentation of women’s life in the past and the preparation of the traditional Prlekija dessert (gibanica).
- On Sunday, you will enjoy breakfast, followed by a visit to the surrounding area. By prior arrangement, you can also visit the Queens Heritage Museum, the Puch Museum, and other nearby attractions.
(Sunday visits are not included in the price.)
