The tourist farm of the Karničnik family is located 4 km from Velenje at the end of the village Hrastovec. Surrounded by beautiful nature and a breathtaking view.

On the farm, we raise two native Slovenian animal breeds: the Krškopolje pig, the Kranjska grey (cattle), and Black Angus cattle.

The food path we offer guests goes from the barn to the table and from the field to the table, which our guests highly appreciate and enjoy returning for.

We bake the roasted Krškopolje pig, potatoes, and carrots in a bread oven, which evokes the flavors of our grandmothers’ kitchens.

We process dry-cured meats from the Krškopolje pig and Black Angus, with meat of higher quality and marbling.

When you arrive at the farm, you will be enchanted by the homely and authentic appearance of the farm, where you will meet many domestic animals, admire the beautiful nature, enjoy the peace, and taste the carefully grown homemade food, something we are especially proud of.
