About the farm
Two smaller mountain farms, Lekšun and Lemež, have merged into Grunt Sonek in the heart of the Pohorje forests. Located at an altitude of 1000 m, Grunt Sonek is surrounded by flowering meadows, an orchard and a forest.
The two hosts, Špela and Marko, have always intertwined their lives with tourism. By renovating a house that is more than 300 years old, we wanted to bring it back to life. In the renovation, we have tried to preserve as many of the original elements as possible. Details such as the preserved wooden beams, the steep solid wood stairs, the low ceilings, the clay lamps, and the fireplace, evoke the warm atmosphere that we aspire to as hosts. House Sonek offers two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with three single beds, suitable for up to 5 people in total, and a relaxation area with a Finnish sauna and lounge chairs in the basement.
